Milngavie cafe reunites lost dog with owner

Staff at a Milngavie cafe have done their good deed for the day.

The team at Cafe Alba had been keeping a watchful eye on this cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for the past hour, after discovering him wandering outside their Main Street eatery.

Barras police incident: emergency services on the scene at east end wasteground

The kind-hearted team ensured their new four-legged pal was fed, watered and entertained, but they were desperate to get the animal back where he belonged.

They said: "If anyone has lost a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, its outside the cafe - we've been keeping it watered and in the shade. Its wearing a red tartan collar, and has been here for approx. 1hr so far.

"Please help us get it back to its owner."

After an online appeal, they found the owner of the pooch - which we now know is called Teddy.

Hurrah!
