Millwall fixtures for Championship 2021/22 season: Full EFL match schedule with dates revealed

Millwall will once again be looking to improve upon last season’s showing as they learn their fixtures for the upcoming Championship campaign.

The Lions begin their season with a London derby away at Queens Park Rangers, before Blackburn Rovers visit for their first home game of the new term.

There are two all-London games in the first three as Fulham make the trip across the capital following their relegation from the Premier League.

Boxing Day can be celebrated at home as Millwall play host to Swansea City while they make the trip down to Bristol City on New Year’s Day.

Peterborough United are the final visitors of the season with the last home game coming on April 30, before the campaign comes to a close on the south coast at Bournemouth on May 7.

Play-offs will again be the aim as Millwall begin a fifth consecutive season in England’s second-tier, matching the club record since the formation of the Premier League.

Manager Gary Rowett’s first full season in charge ended with the Lions missing out on a playoff spot after a late downturn in form; losing four, and winning just one, of their final six games.

The squad report for pre-season training on July 1, before facing Motherwell in their first friendly away in Scotland.
