Millwall call for unity in the fight against racism and discrimination

Millwall have called on all of English football to work together in the fight against racism.

Lions CEO Steve Kavanagh used an EFL meeting to urge all stakeholders to do more to tackle discrimination.

Millwall were charged by the FA last month after racist chanting was heard during their FA Cup tie against Everton but the club have since attempted to take the lead in the fight against discrimination.

Millwall have vowed to impose lifetime bans on any fans found guilty of racist chanting and have introduced a campaign called “Hear hate? Don’t hesitate”, which encourages fans to report incidents of discrimination.
