About 5 million manjushage red spider lilies are now in full bloom, turning the grounds of prefecture-run Gongendo Park in Satte, Saitama Prefecture, a brilliant shade of red.

Katsumi Namiki, the chairman of a nonprofit organization that cares for the plants, said that many people including farmers donate bulbs every year, increasing the park's total number of the plants. The flowers' peak viewing time is expected to continue until around Saturday.
