A former millionaire who gave away all of his money to start a cancer charity will shortly arrive in Dublin to continue his quest to walk the entire coast of the UK and Ireland.
Brian Burnie, 74, relinquished all of his money and possessions to start the charity, Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care.
The UK-based charity provides free transport for cancer patients and currently operates 40,000 cancer patient journeys each year with a team of over 300 volunteers.
Brian began his epic 7,000 mile walk on 5 March 2018 from Gateshead to raise awareness, promote and expand the Newcastle-based charity.

Despite suffering from the effects of Parkinson's Disease, Brian has already completed over 3,000 miles of his journey.
He is completing the challenge in the hope of expanding the charity.
He said: “Each year we transport 40,000 cancer patients from their homes to and from hospital who require Chemotherapy and / or Radiotherapy cancer treatment.
"If we can replicate what we do in the North East all over Great Britain and Ireland, we could help so many patients on their journey to recovery.”
Brian will soon arrive in Dublin in his double-decker bus "Bluebell".
He and his wife Cheryl have been living on the bus for the last year.
