Millionaire rebuilds boy's home after seeing him do homework under lamp post on street

A millionaire provided life-changing gifts to a child who went viral after being photographed doing his homework under a lamp post.

The image of dedicated Víctor Martín Angulo Córdoba reading his book under the street light moved millions of people all over the world after it was shared online.

With no electricity in his modest home, the 11-year-old perched on a kerb in Moche, Peru.

Yaqoob Yusuf Ahmed Mubarak, 31, a philanthropist from Bahrain, learned of the youngster's story and traveled from his country to help.

He had Víctor's humble home rebuilt, making it into two storeys high, Tubarco reports .

Yaqoob, who said he had a similar childhood to the little boy, also set up a business for Víctor's mum to help her out.

This way, she'll be able to help her son's future who now has a better quality of life and study conditions.

Taking his kindness even further, he promised to help repair the boy's school.

According to Diario Correo : Víctor said: "Thank you for the help you are offering, thank you very much because you are helping us to build our school (...) to continue studying."

Víctor's mum Rosa said her son was very surprised by everything he was being offered.

She said: "He kept thinking, how can people from another continent come to see me?"
