Ed Sheeran will reportedly pay his London restaurant staff's wages in full amid the coronavirus shutdown.
His new Notting Hill restaurant Bertie Blossoms was forced to shut down temporarily under UK government measures no eateries remain open amid the fight against COVID-19 to reduce the spreading of the virus.
It was only open as a pub for four months before the musician, 29, had to temporarily close down his pub amid the coronavirus outbreak.
But it's claimed the chart-topping singer - worth an estimated £135m or $160m - has vowed to pay his workers in full while the restaurant shuts its doors amid the global pandemic.
Ed reportedly said he will see everyone for a "massive p***-up once the world gets back to normal" and recovers from the dangerous plague.
The £135m star was said to have encouraged his staff to pick up extra work if they wanted to earn extra money during this time.
He also suggested some of his employees would be able to use their time to volunteer if they wanted before they're able to return to work at his restaurant.
A source told The Sun : "Ed's told everyone not to worry and that he's picking up the tab and he'll see them all again for a massive p***-up once the world gets back to normal.
"Ed even told staff they could go out and seek other employment if they wanted or go help the nation by doing voluntary work."
The Mirror has reached out to Ed Sheeran's representatives for further comment.
It's not known when pubs, restaurants and gyms will be allowed to reopen in the UK amid coronavirus.
Bertie Blossoms was previously a restaurant before it was transformed into a pub.
It comes after Ed announced he was going to take another break again to travel, write and read in December last year.
The redhead has been happily settling into married life with his wife Cherry Seaborn after they tied the knot in 2018.
According to recent reports, it appears the couple plan to have five children in the future.
