Frank Lampard has showered praise on two of Leeds United's attacking players ahead of tomorrow's meeting with his Chelsea side.
The Whites make the trip to Stamford Bridge for a game that will see 2,000 home fans in attendance.
It promises to be a fascinating encounter and ahead of the clash Blues' boss Lampard has highlighted two Leeds players he knows well.
Lampard played with Jack Harrison during his time in the MLS when the pair were teammates at New York City and was also a colleague of Patrick Bamford, when they were both at Chelsea.
On Harrison, Lampard said: "Jack is a million miles from the player he was in New York.
"I hope that doesn't sound negative in any way but he was a real development player at that point.
"He's a real lovely lad. I have so much time for Jack. I keep in touch with him and I actually spoke with him the other day.
"The player he has developed into at Leeds is really, really impressive. He's playing great football, is a threat with both feet.
"He is quick, can run at high intensity and he is one of their major players in an attacking sense.
"I'm delighted for him in how his career has developed. We want to nullify him tomorrow but his career has gone in a great direction and it continues to."
Harrison has impressed so far this season, but arguably the stand-out performer for Marcelo Bielsa's side has been Bamford.
The 27-year-old never made the breakthrough at Chelsea and after plenty of moves he now looks to be in the best form of his career.
He has seven goals in just ten outings this season - and Lampard says he is "happy" to see how he has developed since those early days in West London.
He added: "I remember him well. He trained with us quite a lot as a young player who arrived at the club.
"He clearly had great finishing ability and an eye for goal in that early stage at Chelsea.
"It didn’t quite work out for him which was more due to the competition he faced at that time for us.
"He should be proud of the way his career has gone to make different moves and come back and be one of the leading scorers in the Premier League for a very good Leeds team.
"I like Patrick as a lad and he is playing very well. I am happy for him."
