Millie Court was at her 'lowest' while battling adult acne as she shares transformation snaps

Millie Court was at her "lowest" as she struggled with adult acne.

The Love Island star has been open about her battle with the skin condition, explaining how she couldn't figure out why she kept getting acne - until a trip to a dermatologist solved it all.

Millie is talking about her own experience to try and help others who might be going through the same thing.

She told fans in a question and answer session on Instagram : "This feels mad to post up for you all to see me when I was at my lowest, and feel the most insecure I've ever felt. But if I can help people who feel like I did then that means more to me than anything."

Millie believes her acne stemmed from having the implant and said her own habits made her skin worse.

She added: "I started getting acne about a year and a half ago, I couldn't figure it out, when I went to the dermatologist, she helped me realise it was down to my implant. I didn't put two and two together and this is kind of what brought it on, they got me off it straight away and they looked deeper into it.

"I am really bad at picking my skin, obviously picking it you're spreading it across your face. The main thing I would say is only squeeze when they have a yellow head and use gloves or a tissue."

She has since been on natural remedies and her skin has improved dramatically.

"I didn't go on roaccutane because I was scared of the side effects, it can be helpful. My dermatologist put me on different antibiotics. It's a natural remedy and isn't harmful to your body, it works from the inside out," she added.

She hopes that being open about her own experiences will help others who might be suffering with acne.

"Over and out guys. Sorry it was so long but hopefully I helped someone today," she shared in her final post.

"Just remember, nobody is perfect. I still get spots to this day, spots won't go forever, let's embrace them. It's normal and we are normal people."
