Millie Bobby Brown has shared a glimpse of what parenthood looks like for her and her hubby Jake Bongiovi after the pair welcomed their first bub together through adoption.
ICYMI: last month, the pair announced they’d adopted a child in a hella sweet joint post: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
They concluded the sweet post with: “And then there were three. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
Millie, 21, has now taken to the ‘gram to update her fans on what life has been like for her and hubby Jake, 23, plus one.
“🍼✨🐥,” she captioned the photo dump.
The pics included a cute coupley snap of the new mum and dad along with a pic of the pair boarding a plane, baby in tow.
The big cuties got hitched in 2024 after two years of dating, around which time the actress described Jake as her forever person. Bless!
“I was interested in him and wanted to know more,” she told The Sunday Times in August 2023 of their first conversation, which took place on Instagram.
“As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
Millie’s always spoken up about wanting a family someday. Back in March, she expressed her excitement at starting a fam with Jake.
“My mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” Brown said on the Smartless podcast.
“Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
She continued, “And my nan, my grandmother … she was a huge part of my life. Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally. It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ So that was his thing.”
As for whether or not her child will get into showbiz, earlier this year she told PEDESTRIAN.TV that she’d handle her child’s desire (or lack there of) to become famous in the same way her parents did.
“I would do exactly what my parents did to me, which was just encourage me to be myself,” she said.
“I would support them but protect them in the way that my parents protected me. So, yeah, I always encourage any young person to achieve their dreams, and if I can help in any way, I absolutely will.”
