Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour have both pulled out of a major Stranger Things promo event, weeks after rumours of their supposed feud began circulating.
The pair, who portray Eleven and Hopper in the Netflix behemoth, were slated to appear at a Stranger Things panel discussion at the Paley Center in New York City, but withdrew from the event before it went ahead earlier today (local time).
Brown also pulled out of a scheduled appearance on Good Morning America, with her reps saying both no-shows were the result of a recent injury. “Unfortunately, due to a recent injury, Millie can no longer attend the carpet or discussion,” a spokesperson told PEOPLE.

As for Harbour’s withdrawal from the, well, it was because of the ever-vague, ever-elusive reason of “scheduling conflicts,” a rep for the actor said, per PEOPLE.
There’s no indication the pair’s joint withdrawal was due to their feud, but that won’t stop gossips like me from pontificating — a fancy word for being as nosey as Vecna. Wait, he doesn’t have a nose, but you get the gist.
Brown and Harbour were splashed across the tabloids last month when reports emerged that the actress had filed “pages and pages” of allegations against Harbour, including accusations of bullying and harassment, while filming Stranger Things season four.

The reports — which claimed Brown’s allegations prompted an internal investigation — were never officially verified, but eagle-eyed fans thought she had hinted at drama with her co-star in an interview moment earlier this year.
The pair seemingly brushed off the rumours with a chummy display at the Stranger Things premiere in early November, and the arrival of the fourth season on Netflix later that month — coupled with Brown saying she “felt safe” working with Harbour — seemed to subsume all the whispers entirely.

The Stranger Things panel was still attended by series creators Matt and Ross Duffer as well as stars like Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Natalie Dyer.
The second volume of Stranger Things’ fourth season lands on Netflix on Christmas Day (a callback to that iconic Christmas lights scene, mayhaps), with the final episode arriving on New Years Day.
