Miller Homes acquires land across East of Scotland

Miller Homes has secured the purchase of land at multiple locations across the East of Scotland, bringing 526 new homes to towns and communities.

The Edinburgh-based homebuilder, active for 85 years across the Central Belt, will now begin work on new developments at Winton View in Tranent, Carberry Grange in Whitecraig, Station Brae in Maddiston, Victoria Wynd in Kirkcaldy and Calderwood in East Calder.

These new developments will feature homes in a range of styles and sizes, and in the case of Calderwood, delivering a second phase of the development from Miller Homes.

The Winton View development will feature 99 three-to-five-bedroom homes, while Carberry Grange will include 187 three-to-five-bedroom properties, along with 63 affordable homes.

Station Brae will comprise of 72 terraced, semi-detached and detached homes, with 24 affordable homes, while Victoria Wynd will include 105 three and four-bedroom homes.

David Morgan, land director at Miller Homes, commented: "These are key acquisitions, meeting the needs of local people and communities which are growing and thriving.

"They are all in prime locations, within reach of cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow, and will provide high quality homes for families of all sizes."
