From films to games, most of us regularly download content to our smartphones.
While slow download speeds can be irritating, it seems that millennials don’t even have the patience for mediocre speeds, with many experiencing ‘Load Rage.’
A new survey by OnePlus has revealed that millennials take less than a minute waiting for downloads before lose their cool.
The survey, which included over 2,000 participants, found that just under a quarter of 16-24 year olds would lose their temper over slow download speeds, while just 10 percent of over 55 year olds would.
And amazingly, 75% of millennials said that download speeds and internet connectivity were the most frustrating element of their life.
However, while it seems that millennials are quick to lose their cool over slow downloads, the findings revealed that a third immediately regret getting worked up over it.
Delving deeper into the findings, OnePlus found that London was the angriest city, where 15.4% of people felt rage about download speeds up to five times a day.
Meanwhile, the North East was the calmest area, with just 6.5% experiencing Load Rage five times a day.
To help millennials to relax a bit, OnePlus has recently launched a new ‘Zen’ mode, which forces you to stop using your phone by disabling everything for 20 minutes.
