Miley Cyrus’s boyfriend Cody Simpson rushed to be at her bedside after the singer was hospitalised with tonsillitis.
Cyrus, 26, was admitted on Tuesday and shared a picture of herself in a hospital bed with the caption: “BF coming to visit me @ the hospy.” [sic]
She then posted a video of Simpson, 22, playing a song on his guitar.
In the Instagram Story post, she explained that Simpson had written the currently-untitled track for for her.
She added: “It's too special to be only heard in full by my ears so I am currently pressuring him to DROP IT next week... & it's working.”
Aussie musician Simpson also brought roses for Cyrus, who revealed she had been hospitalised by posting a snap of herself with an IV drip.
Telling fans that she’s hoping to recover in time to perform at charity event Gorillapalooza this weekend, she wrote: “Send gooooood vibes my way!
“Hoping the Rock star G*DS send me a boost of bad a** and help me kick this s*** to the curb where it belongs! We got gorillas to save!”
Cyrus and Simpson are believed to have begun dating in the last month, but have been friends since 2014.
Wrecking Ball singer Cyrus split from her husband Liam Hemsworth in August.
