Miley Cyrus has joked about moving on from ex girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter after their short-lived romance fizzled out.
The singer, 26, who moved onto Kaitlynn following the breakdown of her relationship with husband Liam Hemsworth in August, took to Instagram to share a gallery of herself posing with a number zombie mannequins in what appeared to be a haunted house experience.
Former Disney star Miley got up close to the scary looking models that had grey skin, gaunt faces and gooey eyes and puckered up to a giant Frankenstein doll.
Staying true to her confident self, she even stuck her tongue out as she perched for snaps next to the horror figures.
Mocking her love life, Miley wrote alongside the fun snaps: "Met a couple new potential partners. Felt like I was on The Bachelorette."
Miley's post comes after she threw shade at both her estranged husband Liam and her ex-girlfriend Kaitlynnt in an emotionally charged Instagram post on Sunday.
She posted a photo which appeared to unflatteringly compare and contrast her two dogs with her former lovers.
The post, which featured Miley pretending to be sleeping in bed with her two pups, was captioned: “Happy Sunday from me & 2 stinky dogs!”
However, it was a longer post to the bottom of the image that caught the attention of fans.
It read: “Waking up surrounded by animals is my favourite way to start a morning.
"I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions.
“The best part about animals is that they are careless about the details.
"They live by the golden rule ... Love & Be Loved. Nothing in between.
"No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age, sex .... They love back 100X....
“All they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone).”
While she didn’t name names, the post appeared to be a very pointed dig at Liam, 29, and 31-year-old Kaitlynn.
Miley and Liam separated in mid-August, although it is claimed cracks in their relationship began to be noticed publicly back in June.
They split after just eight months of marriage but had been together, on and off, for ten years.
Following their break up, Miley was spotted getting up close and personal with Kaitlynn Carter during a girls’ break in Lake Como.
Their relationship, however, was short lived and the girls broke up last week.
She announced her return to single life with a cheeky photo of her bum on Instagram, captioning the post: “Goodbyes are never easy… but g2g”.
