It's claimed Miley Cyrus will be hurt after Elsa Pataky said she wasn't good enough for Liam Hemsworth.
In a vicious attack, Elsa savaged her sister-in-law Miley, 26, when she insisted Liam deserved better than her following the very public end to their marriage.
Chris Hemsworth's wife unleashed her fury in a scathing interview which friends have claimed could have upset Miley as the pair had once been close.
Elsa and Miley were BFFs and even got matching tattoos three years ago as a symbol of the strength of their friendship.
Now a source told Woman's Day : "Elsa saying she wasn't good enough for Liam will hurt her hard."
The Mirror Online reached out to Miley Cyrus' representative for comment.
Chris' wife has some strong words for her former pal Miley Cyrus .
Miley and Chris' brother Liam announced they were calling it quits on their marriage back in August.
They had tied the knot just eight months before but they had serious history as the couple had dated on/off for a decade.
Spanish model Elsa broke her silence and struck out at the pop star for her handling of the break up.
"My brother-in-law," she told Hola! magazine , "Well...after a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down but he's coping well.
He's a strong boy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much better."
She added that the support of brother Chris has been a huge help for Liam.
Elsa continued: "You always find support in your family, and he's joined at the hip with his brother, who's been there to give all the strength he needed."
She was referring to the time Liam spent kicking back at Chris and Elsa's Byron Bay mansion in Australia following his split from Miley.
Back in August, a representative for Miley said: "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they focus on themselves and careers.
"They still remain dedicated parents to all the animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."
Miley dated Kaitlynn Carter for a time before moving on with Aussie singer Cody Simpson.
