Miley Cyrus hints she was 'ghosted' by Liam Hemsworth after split in cryptic post

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split this summer after less than a year of marriage, and the singer is now dropping some hints about their break-up.

She left a cryptic comment on a post about ghosting, hinting Liam, 29, may have done so to her when they called it a day.

The post was of a quote that read: "Stop being weird! Own your desires! Other people are people, even the ones you don't want to f**k anymore."

It was captioned: "Just break up with someone — don't ghost or 'fizz', a trendy new name for that age-old dating practice where you end things with someone by cutting off contact."

And Instagram account Comments by Celebs noticed that Miley, 26, had commented on the post.

She wrote: "#Dignity."

Now the account's followers are convinced she was making a jibe at Liam.

One posted: "Wait. Explain. Is she accusing someone of ghosting her?"

"Leave the past in the past @mileycyrus ! You were MARRIED not DATING," another commented.

A third said: "That quote was for her."

Miley and Liam separated in mid-August, although it is claimed cracks in their relationship began to be noticed publicly back in June.

They split after just eight months of marriage but had been together, on and off, for ten years.

Following their break up, Miley was spotted getting up close and personal with Kaitlynn Carter during a girls’ break in Lake Como.

Their relationship, however, was short lived and she's since moved on with Cody Simpson.
