Miley Cyrus 'grabbed' by fan trying to kiss her after headlining Primavera Festival in Spain

Miley Cyrus was grabbed by a “fan” who hooked her in by her neck in Spain.

Video footage on Twitter shows Cyrus being held by a member of the crowd who attempted to kiss her neck, while meeting some fans on the way to her car outside her hotel in Barcelona, after she headlined Primavera festival.

Cyrus managed to turn her head away from the person, quickly alerting husband Liam Hemsworth to the incident who immediately put a protective arm around her.

Security also intervened to make sure the star was out of harm’s way.

The troubling moment was captured on video by an onlooker and quickly went viral on social media, with many slamming the actions of the so-called fan.

One wrote: “The way they just grabbed and pulled at her was disgusting.”

Another said: “This is disgusting. Have some respect and keep your hands OFF!! Poor Miley couldn’t get into that car quick enough.”

“Poor Miley... I'm so disgusted at how some fans can act. Learn some freaking boundaries people,” blasted somebody else.

Many said they were “ashamed” to see the “horrible moment” and branded the “attack” “f****** disgusting”.

A source later told E! News that Cyrus "always respects her fans" but was "unsettled" by what had happened. The insider added that Cyrus was "doing fine" after the incident.

On Friday, Cyrus headlined the Spanish music event, having joined the star-studded line-up in April when Cardi B was forced to pull out.

The set was also on the same day her latest EP, She Is Coming, dropped. The track features vocals from other artists including Ghostface Killah and RuPaul.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Cyrus for comment.
