Miley Cyrus 'confirms' Black Mirror season 5 appearance

Miley Cyrus has reportedly confirmed her role in the next series of Black Mirror.

The Wrecking Ball singer refrained from giving details away but addressed speculation that she could be a part of the Netflix show.

Asked on whether or not the speculation is true by Howard Stern, she told the host: “If you guess it, then I will shake my head ‘yes’ or ‘no’.”

The host was reportedly quick to confirm to his audience that the star will appear on the series.

Keeping any verbal confirmation under wraps, Cyrus told how there are “a lot of different sides” to her character.

She told Stern: "I'm really actually excited for everyone to watch the 'head-shaking project' we said yes to.

“There's a lot of dimension to it, and actually it was while the devastation of Malibu was happening, and it was a really weird learning experience for me because I was so far from home and the show is already really dark, and it's already kind of eerie when you're there the whole time.

“But I learned a lot about myself, and I think I was able to use that and put that into it.”

If Cyrus does appear on the upcoming series, she could be set to join the likes of Daniel Kaluuya, Jon Hamm, Bryce Dallas Howard and Hannah John-Kamen, who have all appeared on the show.

Standard Online has contacted representatives of Cyrus for comment.

The songstress previously told how she is “healing” after losing her Malibu home in the devastating California wildfires.

Cyrus’ home, which she shared with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, was destroyed when the fires raged through Malibu in October.
