Miley Cyrus has come “full circle” now that she’s got her very own Barbie doll.
The 33-year-old singer and actress couldn’t hide her delight as she saw the toy for the first time in a video on the Billboard website.
She said: “I'm obsessed. Love her! All the details were so thoughtful and so important.
“Every little piece of this design was a dream, down to the shape of the shoe, the look, the leather jacket, the belt, the hair dimension, the sunglasses."
Miley went on to praise the “purposeful” creation of the doll, down to the little microphone toted by her mini me.
She went on: "That was very important to me that music stays the priority for me and for my purpose, and so having this microphone is so representative of not just the music but using your voice.”
Miley also showed off the doll to fans on Instagram, as she teased a look at her own Barbie collection before adding the cute replica of herself to the haul.
She added in the caption for the Instagram video: “Barbie represents a personal dream of mine. She's something I'll never outgrow as she evolves with me.
“When I was little, I braided her hair and changed her outfits. As an adult, I treasure my collection I never take out of the box.
“Holding my Barbie in my hands is a true full circle moment. Now you have a little piece of me and every time you hold her, I hope you’re reminded that I’m rooting for you to chase your own dreams too. “My Barbie, dressed in custom Alaïa for Golden Burning Sun, is available now.”
Fans were quick to comment on Miley’s Instagram post, with one writing: “I NEED THIS OMG!”
As another called the doll “the coolest Barbie EVER!!!!”.
And a third pointed out: “Only legends have a Barbie.”
While someone else begged: “Someone buy me a Miley Barbie!”
A press statement announcing the release of the doll explained that the toy “celebrates the transformative sound and cultural footprint she has made as a musician, actress and advocate for self-expression”.
The Miley Barbie is on sale now, with a RRP of £69.99.
