Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton put on an impressive display as they rehearsed for their New Year's Eve special in Miami.
Miley, 30, took to the stage to perform alongside her godmother as they prepared for their NYE extravaganza in a dress rehearsal on Friday (December 30).
The duo looked striking with their matching blonde hairdos as they belted out the vocals to a string of hits in preparation for the lavish event.
Miley dressed in a white crop top and cream Adidas joggers as she showcased her trim toned stomach, adding a pair of large dark sunglasses to her outfit and wearing her hair in crimped curls.
Dolly meanwhile dressed in a figure-hugging black long-sleeved top with a leather bralette layered over it.
The 76-year-old added a pair of lace-up leather trousers to the look, accessorising with a pair of rectangle-shaped sunglasses with blue-tinted lenses.
She wore her hair up in a tousled style as she crooned alongside her beloved goddaughter.
Miley posted a series of snaps from the rehearsals to her Instagram page featuring a string of her celebrity guest performers that include Fletcher, Sia, Latto, Rae Sremmurd, and Liily.
She teased the event writing: "NEW YEAR, NEW PERFORMERS. Fletcher, Sia, Latto, Rae Sremmurd, Liily and more are joining @DollyParton and I for Miley’s New Years Eve Party live on NBC! #MileysNewYearsEveParty."
Miley recently opened up to E! News about how she has drawn inspiration from her godmother in her career over the years.
The star referenced her "unspoken bond" with Dolly after being asked if she would play her in a biopic of the iconic country singer's life.
She said: "Me and Dolly have never really spoken, honestly, about me playing Dolly because I feel like I'm already doing it."
Joking about Dolly's preened appearance she added: "I don't know what they're gonna do to me. I'm sucked, I'm tucked and plucked, just like she taught me."
Miley is no stranger to country music with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus well known for his anthem Achy Breaky Heart.
The chart-topper has even covered her godmother's hit Jolene in the past.
Dolly meanwhile explained how she has tried to give Miley guidance without telling her what to do.
She said: "I’ve told her some things that I think are valuable and that she uses, but I’d rather live an example and be an example rather than just try to tell somebody to do this, do that because I don’t think that’s right.
"Everybody's different. You’ve got your own journey. And some people are going to help you along the way and they can kick a few rocks out of the road for you, but you got to walk it."
