Miles Sanders on Jalen Hurts being benched for Nate Sudfeld: ‘nobody liked the decision, nobody’

The national media has been critical of Eagles head coach Doug Pederson for his handling of the Eagles quarterbacks on Sunday, and now it appears some of his players were displeased as well.

Pederson pulled quarterback Jalen Hurts early in the fourth quarter with the Eagles down 17-14, and position to score or snatch momentum from Washington.

Sudfeld had two turnovers, the Eagles went on to lose, causing an outcry from Giants players on social media.

Fletcher Cox responded to Eli Manning and the controversy was on from there.

On Monday night, there were reports of visibly upset Eagles players attempting to confront head coach Doug Pederson.

While the Eagles may not have tried to attack Doug Pederson on Sunday night as some reports suggest, but players were visibly upset with the head coach per star running back, Miles Sanders.

While appearing on 94WIP, the injured running back admitted that “nobody” on the team liked Doug Pederson’s decision to pull Jalen Hurts for Nate Sudfeld.

“Man if I’m being honest, nobody liked the decision, nobody,” Sanders told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Tuesday’s 94WIP Midday Show. “That’s all I can say really. I don’t know who was the main person behind that decision. All I know is that a lot of people on the team was confused.”

Star defensive end Brandon Graham, was among some players who understood that Sudfeld was going to play at some point during the game.

Head coach Doug Pederson also explained that as well.

Sanders went on to say that it was difficult watching the game, but he just physically couldn’t go.
