Miles Sanders leads all NFL RBs in yards per reception this season

Miles Sanders may be struggling to find his footing in the Eagles running game, but he’s definitely already among the NFL’s elite as a pass-catcher.

Entering the Eagles’ Week 7 showdown at Dallas, Sanders is currently leading all NFL running backs in yards per reception with 16.8, according to Inside Edge.

Sanders is currently the Eagles’ top big-play threat and has been on the receiving end of Carson Wentz’s longest pass completions.

Sanders scored the first touchdown of his career on a 32-yard seam pass from Wentz in the second quarter of the Eagles’ Week 6 loss to the Vikings.

Sanders then hauled in a 45-yard strike with Anthony Barr trailing him to set up another Eagles touchdown.

Sanders led the Eagles with 86 receiving yards and has accounted for all five of the team’s longest pass plays in DeSean Jackson’s absence. Sanders entered Sunday with 10 catches for 133 yards after logging a 36-yard catch against the Jets last week, and he had two catches for 73 yards in the Eagles’ Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions as well.

Sanders had 32 receptions during his entire career at Penn State.
