Miles Bridges to represent Charlotte Hornets at 2021 NBA draft lottery

Despite an exciting and memorable season, the Charlotte Hornets find themselves on the back end of the draft lottery yet again on Tuesday. Even with making the play-in game, by falling to the Pacers and not making the playoffs, Charlotte remains in the lottery.

A tiebreaker earlier in the offseason saw the team land in the No. 11 spot of the lottery. While the Hornets’ odds of winning the lottery are minute at 1.8%, they could jump into the top four picks as happened last year. The probability of that happening is 8.5%.

All of this will take place on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening with representatives from each team in attendance. For the Hornets, breakout forward Miles Bridges will represent the team.

Other notable representatives will be NBA legends Ben Wallace and Hakeem Olajuwon for the Pistons and Rockets, respectively, Rookie of the Year runner-up Anthony Edwards for the Timberwolves and Fred Van Vleet for the Raptors.
