Miles Bridges has huge game in second Summer League contest

In his first game in this year’s Summer League, NBA sophomore and former Michigan State stand out Miles Bridges put in a productive outing for the Charlotte Hornets. In 25 minutes, Bridges put up 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists to along with a steal and a block. However, he had some areas I’m sure he was looking to improve on heading into this game today. For one, he went 0-3 from three in his last game. On top of that, his +/- was -5, meaning that in this game he wasn’t involved in winning basketball. So, it’s no wonder that Bridges came out today looking to put his last game behind him, and he did just that, exploding for 23 points on 50% three-point shooting.

Bridges also used the exhibition to show off some new tricks he’s added:

Miles definitely addressed that shooting issue from the first game. He ended the first half 3/5 from long-range and was 5/10 on the day.

With a +2 plus-minus, Miles Bridges was one of only four Hornets who ended the day with a positive plus-minus in their loss to the Spurs. Bridges also had 7 rebounds and 3 steals to go along with his 23 points.
