Milan Skriniar speaks about Manchester United and Man City transfer speculation

Milan Skriniar has spoken about speculation linking him with both Manchester United and Manchester City.

The Slovakia international is a defender United monitored before signing Harry Maguire in the summer, while he has also been mooted as a potential City target.

Skriniar told German outlet Ruhr Nachrichten that he is aware of media reports about his future but said he is yet to receive a concrete offer to leave Inter Milan.

“I can read," he said. "There is a lot written on the internet, so such information also finds its way to me, but I do not worry about it.

“The transfer window is now closed, the next opens in two and a half months.

“Personally, I did not receive any specific offer, but there were clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United and Barcelona [written] in the media.”

Skriniar added that he has no intention of leaving Inter in the near future.

“I feel good here, I have a very good relationship with the fans," he added. "I do not miss anything here and I play regularly – that’s crucial for me, that’s why I decided to take this step. I’m not planning to change [clubs]."

Skriniar is contracted to Inter until 2023 having signed a contract extension with the San Siro club in May.
