Miki Sudo wins Nathan’s hot dog eating contest by scarfing down eye-popping number of franks

  • Major League Eating, the organizer of the Nathan’s Famous contest, confirmed that the criminal case did not impact Chestnut’s eligibility to participate.
  • The iconic contest, now under new ownership by packaged meat giant Smithfield Foods, requires competitors to eat as many hot dogs and buns as possible in 10 minutes, with Sudo holding the women's record of 51 dogs and Chestnut the men's record of 76.
