Thomas Partey has been installed as Arsenal's most likely midfield signing on transfer deadline day.
Odds on the Ghana international sealing a £45m move to the Emirates Stadium were slashed from 6/4 to just 1/2 with bookmakers Ladbrokes earlier in the afternoon.
Below are the odds at the time of writing.
Arsenal Transfer Specials
Thomas Partey to Arsenal - 6/4
Jorginho to Arsenal - EVS
Houssem Aouar to join Arsenal - 9/4
Elsewhere, Jorginho remains an even-money shot to sign for Arsenal before close of play tonight, while Houssem Aouar is 9/4 in the betting.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Time is running out for the Gunners to add to their ranks, and while a move for Houssem Aouar is looking less likely, Partey could well be on his way."
With Partey tipped to sign, Mikel Arteta's second transfer window as Arsenal manager is set to bring about the fifth signing of the summer thus far.
Willian was first to arrive on a free transfer after his contract at London rivals expired at the end of last season and he was soon joined by compatriot Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.
Dani Ceballos is also back for another season-long loan deal from Real Madrid, while Alex Runarsson has replaced Emiliano Martinez as the second choice to Bernd Leno.
Speaking after Arsenal's 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Sunday, Arteta admitted the club would push to complete some last-minute deals.
"Believe me, the ownership and the board and doing everything they can to maximise the resources and make this club successful," he said. "I have 100 per cent backing for them. Whatever we can do, they are willing to do it, to support us.
“Whatever we can add of course we will do it. But we have to be realistic. The people here are supportive."
