Mikel Arteta tells Arsenal mole there will be consequences after learning who leaked info

Mikel Arteta has warned there will be consequences after hinting he's discovered who was responsible for the Arsenal training ground leak.

A training ground bust-up between David Luiz and Dani Ceballos earlier in the season happened behind closed doors in north London.

But some how intimate details of the verbal argument and physical bust-up made it's way to the press, which angered an already stressed Arteta.

Eventually the situation died down both at Arsenal and in the media, but on Thursday Arteta suggested for the first time he knows exactly who leaked the information.

Not only this but Arteta issued a warning to the culprit, and to any other Arsenal employee planning something similar in the future, that there will be consequences.

"I don't like it at all and I will find out where it is coming from,' Arteta said back in November, shortly after the leak. Now, two months on after an investigation behind the scenes at Arsenal he has told the press: "I have sort of an idea, yes."

When asked whether Mesut Ozil, who is just days away from agreeing terms with Fenerbahce, or Sokratis, who has just had his contract terminated, were responsible for the leak, Arteta responded: "No comment".

Back in November Luiz and Ceballos had to be physically separated by manager Arteta.

Luiz was angered by the Spaniard flying in on him with a reckless challenge, and reacted by striking Ceballos in the face, scratching him on the nose.

The incident occurred during a training match, when many of the first-team Arsenal players were on international duty.
