Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has challenged two of his most promising talents in Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka to start adding more goals to their game.
The pair of Gunners stars, both coming out of Arsenal's famed Hale End academy, scored their side's first and third goals in the recent 3-1 victory over fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Both Smith Rowe and Saka have established themselves as two of their first names on the Spaniard's team-sheet over the last two seasons, but have been found wanting in terms of end product at times.
However, things have started to improve on that front as the pair now have two goals each, one in the Carabao Cup as well as one in the league, while both also registered assists in the derby day win.
Last Sunday's strikes marked both Smith Rowe and Saka's first league goal of the season, as they hope to improve on their return of seven goals across 50 appearances between the pair of them last term.
Speaking ahead of Saturday evening's trip to high-flying Brighton, Arteta said: "When you are playing for top clubs, those individuals in forward positions have to decide matches week in and week out.
"And that is obviously related to scoring and assisting. It is a part of the game we are trying to develop with them and it is getting better. So hopefully they will be able to do that."
While Saka has become somewhat of a regular in the international fold for England, Smith Rowe is yet to earn a senior call-up for Gareth Southgate's side.
However, the Three Lions boss did concede the 21-year-old midfielder was the closest he has ever been to earning a place in the side for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Arteta continued: "He [Smith Rowe] is very good right now and he can get much better, there are things he must improve and he is hungry to do that.
"We can help his confidence and his head, how he takes the next step and how he manages to handle praise and how he handles negativity and pressure as well.

"It’s exciting that people are seeing our academy with the potential to become big players for the club.
"That is already a joy that they believe that, because we believe they have the potential to do that and now that potential has to become reality and they have to fulfil it."
Saka and Smith Rowe will both be keen to add to their tally at the Amex on Saturday, as Arsenal look to make it four league wins in four attempts since the last international break.
