It was January 2020 that Leeds United proved they were a Premier League in waiting, with over 20 Championship fixtures still left to play.
The Whites' dominant display in the FA Cup third round at Arsenal, despite a 1-0 defeat, caught the attention of the country.
Those familiar with the second-tier or of a Leeds persuasion needed little convincing that Marcelo Bielsa was set to return the club to the promised land.
Mikel Arteta was a believer too and his glowing review of Leeds and Bielsa having been proven correct some 11 months later as his side prepares for a trip to Elland Road after the international break.
Asked whether Leeds would becoming a top-flight team, he said: "I do, yes (think they will be promoted).
"The way they play, the manner they behave, I follow their coach for a long time and I know how tough it will be to play against them."
His admiration from Bielsa was clear too.
Even before the match, in which Arteta's infamous "trip to the dentist" quote made the front page of every national newspaper despite a 1-0 victory, the Spaniard knew he was in the presence of footballing royalty, as described by Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino, to name a few.
"Just what he gets out of his team," Arteta said when quizzed what made Bielsa so special.
"How he makes them fight and challenge and run and compete, and never give up in any game or any circumstances.
"He generates that belief in the players, those demands and that is why, in my opinion, he is one of the most successful managers."
