Eddie Nketiah says Mikel Arteta is "very hands-on" when it comes to preparing his team for their next match.
A number of Premier League managers tend to oversee the training sessions carried out by their coaching team, only stepping in when they feel it's necessary.
With Arteta that does not seem to be the case however, as Nketiah revealed he is always on hand to get involved in training sessions to try and implement his strategy.
“He works a lot with the team and in units, making sure everyone knows their jobs,” Nketiah told The Athletic . “We do a lot of tactical work and video analysis of our games and our opponents. It’s been very good.
"Mikel is a very hands-on manager, so he’ll stay out for extra work with you if you want it. He’s always there to speak to on the pitch, to give you extra tips."
Nketiah has been one of the main players to benefit from Arteta's arrival, immediately being recalled from a loan spell at Leeds before his breakthrough into Arsenal's first team.
The 21-year-old has had to be patient so far this season though, starting just once in the Premier League as his boss has largely limited him to appearances off the bench and in cup competitions.
Arteta has preferred to go with his experienced attacking trident of captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Willian, even in the face of criticism over Arsenal's recent lack of creativity in the final third.

And despite having to wait for his chance, Nketiah feels The Gunners are right not to abandon the system Arteta feels will bring the club greater success.
“You add your own spin to it [the tactics] and play your own game, but he’s very clear on the detail of how the team is going to work and how we’re going to play," the striker added.
"It’s very good that we stick to our own style of play no matter which team we’re playing against. We’re consistent with that, which definitely helps."
