Mikel Arteta has revealed what he thinks his side need to do to improve their poor form.
The Gunners lost 2-0 to fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby on Sunday and now sit 15th in the Premier League after 11 games.
They have won just one out of their last seven domestic games, and only the division's bottom three - Burnley, West Brom and Sheffield United - have scored less often.
Speaking in his post match press conference after the defeat Arteta revealed the simple solution he has to turn around Arsenal's problems right now.
"By scoring goals" he said. "Very simple. We need to score goals. If not, it's unsustainable.
"It doesn't matter what we do in other departments of the pitch, if we don't score goals we can't do nothing. We need to put the ball in the net, urgently."

After firing a blank again in their defeat to local rivals Tottenham, Arsenal have now scored less goals (10) than the number of games they have played (11).
Contrastingly Jose Mourinho's side are the Premier League's top scorers, having netted 23 times.
After his world class strike to open the scoring on Sunday Heung-Min Son now has as many league goals this season as the Gunners whole squad do combined.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not scored from open play since the opening day against Fulham, while Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah have also struggled this campaign.
On the day Arsenal had 70% of possession but looked devoid of ideas when it came to how to use it against Spurs' tightly packed defence.
They are being linked to plenty of creative midfielders such as Dominik Szoboszlai and Christian Eriksen in the January window to try and help solve this problem.
