Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has provided a fitness update on Bukayo Saka after the youngster limped off in the draw with Leeds United.
Gunners fans were left feeling pretty concerned after seeing Saka pick up an apparent knee injury at Elland Road, but it was later reported the injury was actually a dead leg and that he would return in time to face Wolves on Sunday.
Arteta has now had his say but the Spaniard wasn't quite as optimistic as the aforementioned reports about Saka's chances of returning in time for the Wolves fixture at Molineux.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal's Europa League clash with Molde, a game Saka will miss, Arteta revealed: "It's very doubtful at the moment.
"He was in a lot of pain in the last few days. We will have to assess what will happen a day before the game.
"Whether he's fit or not we will try to find the players against Wolves."
Saka has been a key part of Arteta's plans again this season, making 12 appearances across all competitions, including seven league outings, six of which were starts.
He was on the bench for Arsenal's draw with Leeds but limped off after coming on as a substitute.
Saka was then left at home for the Gunners' trip to Norway to take on Molde, along with teammate Willian.
The 19-year-old will return to contention for the game against Wolves on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, but clearly faces a race to against time to be fit to play.
Arteta will be sweating on his return with Arsenal making a slow start to the season, currently 12th having picked up just 13 points from nine league games.
