Joe Willock's Newcastle United loan spell is going from strength to strength.
The Arsenal midfielder was allowed to depart in the January transfer window in the search of regular first-team football during the second half of the season.
And whilst Willock hasn't always been a starter for Steve Bruce, he has often made an impact whenever he's been given an opportunity.
The latest of which was against Leicester City on Friday night as he opened the scoring in a shock 4-2 win for the Magpies at the King Power Stadium, capitalising on a mistake by Caglar Soyuncu to place the ball beyond Kasper Schmeichel.
It's safe to say Willock is experiencing a purple patch at the moment as he has now scored in each of his last four Newcastle appearances - taking his tally to five overall.
Such vital contributions brought about praise from Arsenal and Newcastle fans alike on Friday.
With that said, Willock's loan spell has proven Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta right about allowing the 21-year-old to leave on a temporary basis.
"I'm really happy with Joe because he scored a massive goal for their club," the Spaniard said after Willock's late winner against West Ham last month.
"So when he produces big moments like that, for a young talent like him it's very satisfying.
"Joe can do it, he's got the ability and the desire and now he needs more consistency in terms of minutes and performances.
"That's great for his development and that's why we believed it [the loan to Newcastle] was the right option."
Currently valued at £14.4million on transfermarkt, it has been suggested that Willock's price tag could be in the £20m region, and his valuation could increase if he continues to make vital contributions for Newcastle.
And given the fact that the financial situation is Arsenal's biggest problem right now, they'll need to sell first-team players this summer in order to raise funds to improve Arteta's squad.
But the dilemma is should they cash in on Willock or integrate him in midfield next season.
