Colorado Rapids winger is Dantouma Traore is training with Arsenal, football.london understands.
The 17-year-old has been capped by the United States at under-17 level and is considered one of most exciting prospects, having started out playing at Trenton Central High School before moving on to the Players Development Academy..
Traore signed for New York Red Bulls in 2018 and has made one appearance in the league for Colorado, the MLS side who are also owned by Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke.
A decision hasn't been made on whether Traore will be leaving Colorado yet, but sources close to the player insist that it is part of offseason training with several European teams including Scottish giants Rangers.
"Yaya is an exciting talent who has already shown tremendous potential through his performances in the USL Championship as a 16-year-old," said Colorado's general manager Padraig Smith in March.
"He's powerful and explosive on the ball and has an ability to take on defenders that allows him to be a difference maker. 'We believe he has all the qualities necessary to develop into an elite player and are excited to see what the future holds for him."
