Mikel Arteta stunned his Arsenal players into silence with a passionate pre-match speech that has since been revealed as part of the club's upcoming Amazon 'All or Nothing' series.
The Gunners boss can be seen talking to his troops during what was an incredibly bleak period for the club. The opening three games of last season had brought a return of three defeats, nine goals conceded and zero goals scored.
Morale was low among the Arsenal squad and their global fanbase, but Arteta's words prior to their fourth game of the campaign - a home tie against Norwich - appeared to spark a shift in the players, who then proceeded to go and quite the run of form in the weeks that followed.
The clip begins with Arteta heralding the importance of teamwork in any high-performance, results-based industry. He even cites the team of hospital stuff that helped him with his open-heart surgery while he was a child in Spain as an example of those who pull together at the toughest moments to produce.
Arteta then proceeds to draw a graph in front of his players, who are all congregated inside the dressing room, eyes fixated on their manager. The graph is designed to represent the Spaniard's 'emotional state' in the immediate aftermath of their 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City.
"Post Man City, I had fear, I had insecurity, I had the media killing me - suddenly I have all the positives. I have an incredible family, a wife, three kids and another one - the club. The moment I go from there to here [negative to positive] is because of you guys.

"This week, I have found the purpose of why I want to be a coach, why I'm in the industry and why I have to be with these people. So far this guys, what I have to say, only from my side is thank you so much.
"In a difficult moment, you made the best week of my football career. Believe in yourself, I do. You are really good, the last thing I want to do as a coach is blame any of you in difficult moments, this is my responsibility and I will take the hit."
Arsenal ultimately recovered from their torrid start to finish fifth and Arteta can go one better next season by securing qualification for the Champions League, having missed out to local rivals Tottenham in the thrilling race for the top four last term.
