Mikel Arteta has discovered his 'crown jewel' at Arsenal

Bukayo Saka is the 'jewel in the crown' at Arsenal.

That is the view of former Gunners striker Kevin Campbell who delivered a glowing verdict on the teenager ahead of the Premier League clash away at Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday evening.

In what has been a testing season for Arsenal thus far, the club's youngsters have been a shining light - especially in the Europa League.

Whilst Saka has established himself as a regular in Mikel Arteta's side, the Boxing Day win over Chelsea saw Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli impress on their first Premier League starts of the season.

And in the likes of Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock, Miguel Azeez, and Folarin Balogun, just to name a few, it's safe to say the future is bright at the Emirates Stadium.

But who is the best of the bunch?

Well, Campbell has thrown Saka's name into the ring and stated that Arsenal need more players like the England international.

"I think he's the jewel in the crown, for me," Campbell said on Amazon Prime. "He’s probably the youngest in the whole squad, he’s come through, he’s now a fully fledged England international who can play in multiple positions, but it seems effortless to him.

"Whichever position he plays, he plays with a verve and energy and quality as well.

"He's got unbelievable talent, a great left foot and he can beat a player for fun.

"We need to see more of that at Arsenal."

Saka along with Martinelli and Smith Rowe have been named in the Gunners XI against Brighton.
