Mikel Arteta forced into late decision as Arsenal confirm injury news ahead of Burnley

Arsenal have confirmed that Sead Kolasinac and Shkodran Mustafi will both be assessed ahead of the Premier League clash with Burnley on Sunday.

Both players are still considered injury doubts for the game, with Kolasinac having a thigh strain and Mustafi sustaining a sprained ankle in the 2-1 win at Bournemouth on Monday night.

But neither player has been ruled out of the trip to Turf Moor, with Arsenal confirming that Kolasinac has progressed well this week and that both defenders will be assessed ahead of the game.

Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and David Luiz are both available again, after serving suspensions.

However, the Gunners will still be without Calum Chambers, Kieran Tierney and Reiss Nelson for the game against the Clarets.

Chambers is a long-term absentee after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee during the home defeat against Chelsea in December.

He has since had surgery, but the rehabilitation process is expected to take between six and nine months.

Nelson is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, but Arsenal hope he will return to full training after the game against Burnley.

Tierney dislocated his right shoulder against West Ham in December and has since had surgery, with the Scottish full-back aiming to return to full training in March.
