Here is your Arsenal morning digest on Monday, January 11.
Arteta's worrying Martinelli update
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted Gabriel Martinelli's ankle injury "doesn't look too good" after hurting himself in the warm-up to Saturday's win over Newcastle United.
Martinelli was supposed to start for the Gunners against the Magpies in the FA Cup third round - which they won 2-0 - but there was a late change, with Reiss Nelson replacing the Brazilian youngster after going down in pain.
It's another setback for the 19-year-old, who has just returned from a long-term knee problem.
Arteta said: “We really want to know what's going on. He's a character that says he wants to play the next game, that he doesn't care that he can handle pain, but I don't know.
“Hopefully there is nothing too serious but to start with it didn't look too good.”

Fans love what Saliba did for Nice
William Saliba is about a week in to his loan spell with French club Nice and the centre-back is already showing Arsenal what they are missing.
Saliba has settled in very well in Ligue 1 - and has played two games already for his new side.
The France U20 international earned the man of the match award for his display against Metz on Saturday and the Gunners supporters have taken to Twitter to express their feelings.
@XhakaWinter: Arteta hates him for no reason. I'm so happy for him.
@DeanJamesAFC: Loaning Saliba to Nice was a masterclass by Arteta... MOTM performance yesterday, he'll continue to grow into his game and build his confidence - Exactly what Mikel wanted during his loan back to ASSE initially."

Arsenal face Torreira transfer decision
Arsenal have a decision to make as Lucas Torreira is attracting interest from Fiorentina, according to Italian newspaper La Nazione.
Torreira is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid, but has found first-team minutes hard to come by under Diego Simeone.
The report claims that the Gunners could recall the 24-year-old from the Spanish capital and then loan him back out, but to Italy, where the Florence-based outfit have assured him of more game time.
Fiorentina are keen on bringing the Uruguay midfielder back to Serie A and they are confident of securing a deal.
Torreira was deemed surplus to requirements by Arteta over the summer before being shipped to Spain.
