Mikel Arteta could assemble his dream Arsenal line-up with £58m triple transfer deal

Former Gunners transfer target Dominik Szoboszlai has shown Mikel Arteta his ideal Arsenal side should they complete three transfers this summer.

The Hungarian playmaker was linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium just under a year ago having impressed for Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg.

The north Londoners weren’t quite able to complete a deal for the midfielder, with him instead staying in the Red Bull family of clubs with a switch to Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.

Szoboszlai, only 21, has continued that excellent form in Germany with six goals and three assists across the opening 16 matches of the season.

Whilst the Gunners have not been linked with a move for the midfielder since his switch to Leipzig, he has somewhat hinted that Mikel Arteta could assemble an excellent team in the near future.

Appearing on Fabrizio Romano’s Here We Chill YouTube show, the midfielder selected two current Arsenal transfer targets in a XI of the best players that he has played alongside.

The first was Tyler Adams, the Hungarian’s teammate at Leipzig, with the American having been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.

Speaking about the former New York Red Bulls, man Szoboszlai said: "Behind me, two sixes would be Tyler Adams.

"He is good. He is a leader, he is good."

Meanwhile, the Hungarian also selected another Arsenal target to lead the line for his theoretical team alongside Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland.

He continued: "I would take Karim Adeyemi from Salzburg.

"He has got everything in front of him. He’s still young and he can just continue."

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal make an attempt to bring any of Szoboszlai, Adams or Adeyemi to the Emirates Stadium at some point in the future.

A triple deal would certainly be expensive though, with the players holding a current combined value of £58.5million with transfermarkt.
