Thomas Partey has become one of the most crucial members of the Arsenal squad in recent times.
Since joining from Atletico Madrid in October 2020 Partey has suffered from a plethora of injury problems, starting just 18 Premier League games last season.
Mikel Arteta's side have often struggled when the Ghana international is out of the team, losing three of the four league matches he didn't play in this term.
Given the 28-year-old will be partaking in the African Cup of Nations in the New Year, the north London club may need to dip into the transfer market in January if they want to continue their fine form.
Perhaps a move for former Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey could be on the cards, especially considering Southampton winger Theo Walcott claimed that his former teammate is keen on a return to the Emirates Stadium.
"I’ll find out, give him a call and pester him (on if he’s returning to the Premier League)," Walcott told TalkSPORT, via the Metro.
"Do you know what, it would be lovely, it would be fantastic if he came back to the Premier League. I feel like he would want to.
"Some part of me in my head thinks that he would love to come back to Arsenal. It does. Something about that would sort of tick a box.
"It’s one of those things, he’s at Juventus and he played very well for Wales last night and it’s good to see. A lot of people have been on his back in Italy, which I haven’t seen a lot or enough of it to comment on that.
"But he’s a leader. He’s a workhorse. Still playing for his country and has all these caps."
