Mikel Arteta has confessed that Arsenal's lack of creativity is a problem as they approach the season finale.
The Gunners are 16th in the Premier League when it comes to chances created as they sit in a disappointing tenth place.
Arsenal have scored 53 times in 37 games thus far with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang notching 20 himself.
Arteta has not been shy in voicing his opinion ahead of their final game of the season at home to Watford.
And as he gets ready for his first transfer window the Spaniard has admitted that his side's creativity in the final third has not been good enough.

"They don’t lie, those stats," said Arteta. "When you relate that to Arsenal it’s not good enough and there are certain aspects of the games we don’t control as well as we should.
"At the same time, when you are in a process where you need immediate results … for the short-term objectives, you have to find a way to do it.
"You cannot just shoot yourself in the foot by doing something at certain moments that you are not able to do.
"We are trying to find this way but the next step in our evolution has to be very much linked to that, to improve that area a lot."
The north London outfit are not short of attacking talent with Aubameyang ,Alexandre Lacazette and youngster Eddie Nketiah all forward options.

Bukayo Saka and Joe Willock are also showing their worth for the Gunners as is loanee Dani Ceballos.
Arteta's biggest conundrum though remains Mesut Ozil who, at his best, is known for his creative flair but doesn't produce enough.
The German has an excellent record when it comes to supplying his team-mates and is second only to Thierry Henry in assists across a single season for Arsenal.
"He is training now with the team," said Arteta when questioned about Ozil.
"He has the same opportunities as everybody else but at the moment he's not in both, in the squads."
