Mike Tyson is perhaps the most noted Dad to have fallen off one of the popular Christmas presents, after publishing his wipeout to the world with a distinctly paternal lack of shame.
The former Heavyweight Champion of the World is far from the only parent to suffer such humiliation though. Mothers and fathers all over have had the joy of seeing their hoverboard mishaps shared with the world.
Mr. Tyson's appreciation of tech crazes didn't seem to stretch to selfies though, after being grabbed from behind by a nothing if not bold fan earlier this year.
Having become a staple of this year's festive season, hoverboards have even been used by a priest during a Christmas mass in the Philippines.
Aside from religious consequences or the odd broken bone, hoverboards have also been known to burst into flames. Amazon even stopped selling them before Christmas amid safety fears.
