Mike Tyson sparked alarm amongst viewers of Good Morning Britain when he appeared on the show to talk about his desire to come out of retirement.
The famous boxer appeared via video link to chat to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid and outline plans to make a shock comeback to fight Roy Jones Junior.
When asked by Piers why he wanted to get back in the ring, Tyson replied: "I just want to do this, I plan on doing this for a charity exponent and I think I am capable of doing that, and that's what I want to do," said Mike.
Piers asked: "How do you feel, are you in the kind of nick you were in 15 years ago?"
Mike replied: "Pretty much, I am just ready to do this, I feel really good, I am ready to do this."
Susanna said: "As two men rapidly approaching the age of 50, I would never cast dispersions on someone's age, but there have been concerns as you are two men in your 50s fighting each other without protective headgear, what do you think about those concerns?"
The boxer, who once infamously bit opponent Evander Holyfield's ear, then rocked forward before sitting back up and telling her: "I think it's very wonderful that we are fighting together, it's a fight we should have had sooner, but unfortunately we are having it now, and that's going to be awesome."
But, as well as being shocked to learn he was planning a comeback, many GMB viewers were taken aback by how Tyson appeared on screen.
One viewer tweeted: "Just watched Mike Tyson on GMTV with Piers Morgan - wow, he really doesn't sound very well especially considering he is due back in the ring soon. Slurred speech, slow blinking eyes....not good to see."
Another reacted: "Poor #miketyson ... whoever is looking after him does not have his best interest at heart," and a third posted: "Wow , that interview with Mike Tyson on GMB is mad . I hope it’s just the time difference, or medicine he’s on . He’s looked in amazing condition in his training videos."
