Mike Tyson interview sparks concern among Good Morning Britain viewers: 'Uncomfortable viewing'

Mike Tyson slurred his way through a chat with Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan on Tuesday as Good Morning Britain viewers raised their concerns during the "uncomfortable" interview.

The 54-year-old appeared via video link from Los Angeles on the breakfast show to promote his exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr on November 28.

As the hosts threw questions at the boxing legend, he appeared vacant and confused - at one point bowing his head and closing his eyes as Morgan addressed the upcoming bout.

Tyson even ignored the crux of a question completely when Reid asked him to respond to critics who have questioned the sense in two men over 50 entering the ring.

"I think it’s very wonderful that we’re fighting together," he responded. "It’s a fight that we should’ve had sooner, but unfortunately we’re having it now and that’s going to be awesome."

One viewer said on Twitter: "What did I just witness?! Am I the only one who couldn’t understand one single word what @MikeTyson was saying?"

Another added: "@GMB very uncomfortable viewing."
