Mike Tyson explains how Conor McGregor could beat him without hitting him

Mike Tyson has revealed the only way he believes Conor McGregor could beat him - by standing on his feet.

Tyson admitted last year that he would struggle in the UFC because he has "the worst feet in the world".

And when asked about an entirely fictitious and unrealistic fight against former two-weight champion McGregor, Tyson explained why he would not accept the challenge.

"I don’t think I want to do that," he said on the Dan Patrick Show.

"Not because Conor might kick my a**, it’s just because Conor has the right to step on my feet.

"If anybody steps on my feet I’m tapping out. He doesn’t need to hit me.

"If he steps on my feet when we get out the ring it’s gonna be a problem.

"Then we’ll have some police involved. We’ll have the lawyer involved. It’s gonna be ugly."

Tyson will return to the fight game next month when he takes on Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition bout.

The fight, which will be over eight rounds, will take place behind closed doors in California on September 12.

Tyson has been flirting with a return to the ring for several months and finally settled on Jones as his opponent.

The two former world champions will not be allowed to hurt one another and the fight can be stopped if it is deemed too violent.

There will be no ringside judges and therefore no official winner under the rules laid down by the California commission.

But Jones insists he will remain wary of the former 'Baddest Man on the Planet' despite the guidelines.

He said: "For me, I know how to have fun in the ring and try to make it the best that I can make it.

"But at the same time, Mike knows one way. It's like playing with a pit bull pup... He'll play, but he'll get lost because all he knows is [to] go at it. So that's all Mike knows, to go at it. So I've got to be prepared for whatever Mike comes out with.

"Now, I want to box, have a good time and give people a good show, as well but Mike ain't ordinary. He's not that person that can go out and do that. All he knows is to take your head off."
