Mike Trout, Tommy La Stella find special way to pay tribute to Tyler Skaggs at All-Star Game

The Los Angeles Angels suffered an absolutely heartbreaking loss last week when pitcher Tyler Skaggs was found dead in his Texas hotel room before the team’s game against the Rangers.

The 27-year-old lefty was beloved by everybody he came in contact with throughout his life and especially by his teammates.

Angels star outfielder Mike Trout and second baseman Tommy La Stella, who broke his leg last week and won’t play tonight, are both All-Stars this year and will be doing something pretty special Tuesday night in Cleveland – they will both wear Skaggs’ number 45.

It’s a touching gesture for a young man who meant so much to his teammates.
