Mike Tindall shuts down 'glamorous' I'm A Celeb rumours with behind-the-scenes look

Mike Tindall was quick to shut down rumours that the I'm A Celebrity camp is actually full of glamour.

Every season sees fans question whether the show is actually as it seems, with some believing the celebs are whisked away when cameras aren't filming.

However, following his fourth-placed finish on the show, former rugby star Mike took to Instagram on the final evening of the show to give fans a behind-the-scenes peek of what awaits them and those who work on the show.

Starting a live stream on Sunday, the 44-year-old said: "For everyone who thinks it's glamorous in I'm A Celebrity, basically, this is behind the scenes. Lots of red c**p, lots of buses, erm, there's not really anything going on."

He then took his 355,000 followers on a whistle-stop tour of the crew who work tirelessly behind the cameras to ensure the show's safety and success. He also introduced fellow campmates to his feed.

Speaking to Scarlette Douglas about the tents, Mike continued: "If you think it gets any more glamorous in the tents, let's have a look shall we? This is what it looks like. Yes, it's trestle tables and just seats. So it is just that.

"And then if you want to think that maybe the celebs hang out in a better place - I hate using the word celebs by the way - same."

Panning the camera back to the outside area, Mike is then gutted to miss the reuniting of second-placed Owen Warner and his brothers.

He does however get a good chat with Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott and Corrie's Sue Cleaver, before panning onto a glammed-up Boy George and seemingly snubbing Matt Hancock.

Mike's journey on I'm A Celeb was filled with laughter for the fans as "Magic Mike" won the hearts of many viewers.

On his exit, he was greet by his wife Zara Phillips. After tightly embracing her on the bridge leaving camp, he later posted a loved-up selfie of the pair as they grabbed a bite to out together in the country they first met each other in 2003.

There had initially been speculation over whether Zara would meet Mike on the bridge, as she hadn't been spotted in Oz, unlike the loved ones of other campmates.

But following their sweet reunion, Mike took to Instagram to show his wife gazing at him lovingly as they enjoyed a bite to eat at Bumbles Cafe, located only a 5 minute walk from the heart of Surfers Paradise.

"Reunited!!! [love heart emoji]," Mike began his upload caption. "Back to normality and time to eat!!! Thanks for all the kind messages! It was a blast! #imaceleb #familytime."
