Rugby word cup winner Mr Tindall who is married to the Queen's granddaughter Zara, described the Duke of Edinburgh as a 'devoted family man who we will forever miss but always love'.

The heartwarming image, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, shows Mia and her great-grandfather eating as they sat together on a bench in front of a wooden cabin.

Former England rugby player Mr Tindall wrote on Instagram : "It's been a very sad week but it has given us time to reflect on great memories and stories both personal and shared.

The Princess Royal's 39-year-old daughter Zara, who gave birth to her third child just three weeks ago, will also be at St George's Chapel.

She named her son Lucas Philip, with his middle name in honour of both the Duke and 42-year-old husband Mike's father.

The heartwarming tribute has been shared after Prince Philip passed away aged 99 last week.

The Duke of Edinburgh's funeral will take place on Saturday, with the Queen set to sit on her own during the ceremony because of strict Covid rules.

Like all 30 guests invited to the service, the Queen will wear a face mask.

Because of laws in place to battle the spread of coronavirus anyone attending a funeral must stay at least two metres apart from anyone not in the same household.

Under government guidance which changed from Monday, funeral ceremonies must have no more than 30 people attending, whether indoors or outdoors.
